3mm

At just 3mm thick microcement Microtopping® is the perfect material when you are close or at finished height.  Can be applied to lots of existing materials without the need to remove them and is extremely efficient when matched with underfloor heating.  Couple this with the durable nature of a concrete product and you have a truly innovative material

Seamless

As microtopping® can be applied in a seamless nature it can eliminate joint lines.  It can be applied both vertically and horizontally on surfaces such as plasterboard, wood, masonry walls, stairs and screed / concrete floors.  Microcement Microtopping® can be used in settings where water is present so can be used outside and in bathrooms and in shower enclosures.

Design Options

Microtopping® is a very versatile product. The endless colour combinations ensure microcement can be used in many environments.

Different finishing options, acid stains and sealers can be used to create a wide variety of personalised finishes with great aesthetic impact.

The Process

Design

The design process can can follow various formats. Either here at our showroom or via email.  Our customers input during the design process alongside our creative expertise is what makes a Microtopping® such a bespoke product, and ensures the customer receives a floor that perfectly suits their needs.

Surface Preparation

Surface preparation can be carried out by us or the customer.  A flat surface with no high points is required before application

Sealer

Finally a sealer is applied to protect and finish the project.  Different sealers can be used to create matte or gloss finishes

Application

Microtopping® is applied in thin layers over several days.  Primer coat is applied  followed by the desired amount of finish coats
